I am a cosmetic and restorative dentist, international lecturer, author, entrepreneur, inventor, professional race car driver, and founder of LEGION.
For over three decades, I have lived inside the dental industry. I have seen the beauty of what dentistry can create. I have also seen the broken systems, weak business models, poor communication, outdated education, and limiting beliefs that keep dentists trapped.
I graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry and the F.A.C.E. Institute. While at UCLA, I co-directed and co-developed the first-ever two-year postgraduate program in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry.
I became the 77th Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and have continued to lecture, teach, write, consult, and innovate in the dental industry since 1994.
But credentials alone are not the point.
The point is this:
I have spent my career building what most dentists were told was impossible.
A fee-for-service cosmetic practice.
A single-chair model.
A low-overhead business.
A life with more freedom.
A teaching facility.

My name is Todd C. Snyder, DDS, FAACD, FASDA, FIADFE, ABAD.
I am a cosmetic and restorative dentist, international lecturer, author, entrepreneur, inventor, professional race car driver, and founder of LEGION.

Outside of dentistry, I race cars professionally.
And racing has taught me something that applies directly to dentistry:
Speed without control is chaos.
You can have the fastest car on the track, but without a plan, precision, feedback, timing, and systems, you will lose.
Dentistry is the same.

You can work hard.
You can buy technology.
You can take courses.
You can push yourself harder than everyone else.

I watched dentists become burned out, underpaid, overworked, and trapped in practices they thought would give them freedom.
I watched them chase more production while losing more of themselves.
I watched them blame the economy, insurance companies, patients, team members, and competition, while ignoring the real issue:
